American Legion tryouts set for tonight

The James Leroy Belk Post 17 Kershaw County Senior and Junior American Legion baseball teams will both begin tryouts for the 2013 summer season tonight at 6 p.m. at American Legion Park in Camden.

County sends 10 athletes into state championships

Led by seven qualifiers from Camden High School, there will be 10 Kershaw County athletes taking part in this weekend's South Carolina High School League State Track and Field Championships.
