As he prepares to lead his Lugoff-Elgin wrestlers into the state individual tournament for the first time, first-year Demons head coach Ted Monroe is hoping to return to the West Wateree with a few 4A state champions along with a top five finish in the unofficial team standings.
All boys and girls ages nine to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2016 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship at the E. Clarkson Rhame City Arena on Broad Street in Camden. It will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30 with practice and registration beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the contest starting at 1 p.m.
