Registration for the Kershaw County Recreation Department's 2013 fall youth sports program is in full swing and signups are on tap throughout the county.
There is one more youth sports camp left on the docket in Kershaw County before school starts. Here are the details:
Registration is open for runners and walkers for the 5th Annual Springdale at Sunset 5K Run, one-lap walk and one-lap Kids' Fun Run to be held on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Springdale Race Course in Camden.

Trailing Rock Hill, 8-2, in the fourth inning in Lancaster Monday afternoon, the Kershaw County American Dixie Boys All-Stars closed the game with a 9-2 run to stave off elimination in the district tournament.
