The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) reported the following recent incidents:

Two male subjects allegedly stole a pair of bicycles from a Gates Court, Camden-area residence, but left them behind after being confronted on Lafayette Way on April 7. According to a KCSO report, the victim was riding in a vehicle with two witnesses when they turned on Lafayette Way, saw the two subjects, and the victim recognized the bicycles as belonging to her. They drove to Gates Court and confirmed the bikes were missing, and the two witnesses began searching for the subjects, finding them on Revere Circle in Camden. One of the witnesses — the victim’s brother — got out and asked the subjects who the bikes belonged to, and one of them claimed they belonged to their cousin. When the victim’s brother revealed who they really belonged to, one of them got off the bike they had been riding and fled the scene. The brother confronted the other subject, who continued to claim they belonged to his cousin, but got off the other bike and fled the scene as well. They reportedly left the area in a black sedan. Both subjects were described as being Black, with one wearing a white T-shirt and black sweat pants, and the other wearing a black shirt and black pants.
