NC volleyball team cruises past 4-AA foes

It is full steam ahead for the North Central volleyball team which breezed past Region 4-AA foe Chesterfield in three sets last Tuesday.

Andy Johnson’s girls returned home with a three-set, 25-16, 25-11, 25-5 sweep of the Lady Rams behind McKenna Arrants who had nine kills to go along with two aces and a block, kill and an assist. Alyana Johnson also had nine kills and a pair of digs. Aaliyah White got the NC offense in gear, doling out 22 assists while serving up a pair of aces to go along with a kill.

Madison Dixon served up five aces with adding four kills and coming up with four digs while Rhi Hendrix contributed seven kills.

Two nights later, the Lady Knights hardly worked up a sweat in a 25-6, 25-3, 25-7 win over Lee Central to improve to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in conference pairings.
