Camden High School recently held the Junior Miss Gold and Black and the Miss Gold and Black pageants in the Camden High Performing Arts Auditorium. The Camden Bulldog Club sponsored the pageants this year as a fundraiser to support the athletic program at Camden High. The Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC) is rolling out the pink carpet for Columbia Children’s Theatre’s (CCT) delightful children’s production of “Pinkalicious The Musical.” The performance begins at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 on the Wood Auditorium stage. Palmetto Dance Center qualifies for national dance championships

During the weekend of Feb. 10-12, dancers from Palmetto Dance Center competed at Encore Dance Competition for the Stars and qualified all 34 of their routines for the National Dance Championships to be held this July in Savannah, Ga. Celebrates 100 days of school by giving back

Celebrates 100 days of school by giving back

In honor of being in school for 100 days, the kindergarten and pre-K students at Camden First Baptist Church collected more than 300 pieces of food to donate to Christian Community Ministries. In total, 98 students and 18 teachers participated. In addition to the food collected at school, 5-year-old Abbygail Caulder celebrated a recent birthday and asked all her attendees to bring canned good instead of gifts for herself. » Read More
