Masons honor Bowers for 60 years of service

Various Masons recognized Cecil A. Bowers for 60 years of service as a Master Mason with Lynchwood Lodge No. 197. Past District Deputy Grand Master Delbert Hayden (Lugoff Lodge No. 411) and the Worshipful Master Herman A. Nerwman (Lynchwood Lodge No. 197) presented Bowers with a 60-year service certificate and service emblem.

Bowers is currently the longest serving brother in the Lynchwood Lodge, with a total of 66 years.

Also in attendance were Jimmy Chrissman, senior deacon, Kershaw Lodge No. 29; Robert E. David Jr., past District Deputy Grand Master, Kershaw Lodge No. 29; Floyd W. Goff Sr., past district deputy grand master, Lugoff Lodge No. 411; Tony Reid, senior warden, Lugoff Lodge No. 411; and Bowers’ family.
