Graham Realty recently presented a $5,000 donation to Craig Bell, president of the Kershaw County Farmers’ Market.  Shown from left are Laurey Carpenter, Kayla Minors, Craig Bell, Jeffrey Graham, Bill Herbert and  Casie Anderson. This donation will go towards the purchase of the new location for the market in downtown Camden. This is one of the largest projects that the PLAY Foundation has led. This project has been broken down into three phases. The first phase (development) was bringing all the farmers’ ideas together and placing it on paper. This process entailed the help of the city of Camden, local architects and structural engineers. The phase was completed in July 2017. The second phase (securing land) is almost complete. Phase 3 will be the actual construction of the pavilion. The foundation and the local farmers are hoping to have this completed by December 2018. For more information contact Laurey Carpenter, PLAY Foundation Board Chair, P.O. Box 883, Lugoff, SC 29078.
