Dylan Cook places 8th at rodeo finals

Dylan Cook, a 16-year-old, 11th grade student of Connections Academy, resides in Cassatt, SC.

Cook is the son of Jamie and Valen Cook and the Grandson of Leonard and Janice Caldwell.

After qualifying 4th in the calf roping event for the State of South Carolina, Dylan went to the World High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs Wyoming.

He placed in the top 10 during the first two rounds and qualified to make a 3rd run on Saturday July, 21 2018.  On that day, he placed 8th in the final go round of the World Finals Rodeo and secured an 8th place overall finish for the year.

This young man has exceled in everything he has put his mind to and continues to “Live his Dream” though the sport of rodeo.
