Among the animals available for adoption at the Thiel-Meyer Adoption Center are a Terrier mix black puppy, and Pretzel, a 2-year-old Labrador, Retriever mix female. She is very sweet and loves belly rubs. The adoption donation includes spaying or neutering. The center, on Black River Road east of Camden and managed by the Kershaw County Humane Society, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
