A funeral service to celebrate the life of Neil Lowman Cobb, 81, of Camden, was held Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Sandy Grove United Methodist Church in Bethune. Rev. Jack Cobb officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family will received friends prior to the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be made to Sandy Grove United Methodist Church, 2845 Old Stagecoach Road, Bethune, SC 29009.

Neil died Thursday, April 6, 2017. He was born in Cassatt, SC, the son of the late Lowman W. Cobb and Faye Cauthen Cobb. He was a retired manager of A&P Grocery Store and was a Little Debbie Distributer. Neil was a member of the Lucknow Lodge and a Shriner, in the Omar Color Guard and a Jester. He was a member of Sandy Grove United Methodist Church. 

Neil is survived by his daughters, Lawann Thompson (Harley) of Columbia, Cynthia Waynick (Phil) of Sumter and Cathy Hanzlik (David) of Sumter; grandchildren, Kimberly Goeckner (Luke), Tyler Waynick, Matthew Waynick and Chip Hanzlik; great-grandchild, Wynne Goeckner; brothers, Bob Cobb of Camden and Billy Cobb (Sally) of Camden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Neil was predeceased by his parents; wife, Betty Croft Cobb; brothers, Glen, Jack, Tommy, Joe and Jimmy Cobb; and his sister, Linda Tucker.

The family wishes to especially thank Brenda Armentrout, Earline Foxworth, Hattie Broadway, Barbara Welliver, McElveen Manor, Sumter Heath & Rehab, Agape Hospice and Ms. Pat for taking such good care of our dad.
