Funeral service for Shirley Cynthia Johnson Baskins, 81, was held on Monday at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Burch Kelly officiated. The family received friends Saturday at Powers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Baskins, wife of the late David “Harry” Baskins, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 01, 2018. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Calhoun and Carolyn Cynthia Tidwell Johnson.

Surviving are her son, Jack Baskins; daughter, Cynthia B. Clyburn; sister, Margie Johnson Baker (Frankie) and Jean Frost; brother, Harold Johnson; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Rachel Neal; and grandsons, Aiken A. “Loco” Abstance III and Little Freddy Clyburn.
