A funeral service to celebrate the life of Susan Clyburn Green, 66, of Bishopville will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Bishopville. Rev. Larry Watson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home from 5 to 7 p.m. today, March 13, 2018. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, PO Box 167, Bishopville, SC 29010.

Susan died Sunday, March 11, 2018. She was born in Camden, SC, the daughter of the late Henry Lee Clyburn and Eloise Rhoden Clyburn. Susan was a teacher for 44 years at Camden Middle School, Robert E. Lee Academy and Thomas Sumter Academy. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir.

Susan is survived by her daughters, Kelsey Mubarak (David Philip) of Columbia and Lindsay Boyle (Adville Barnes, IV) of Columbia; grandson, Hampton Douglas Murbarak; sister, Kay C. Green (Don) of Camden; and brother-in-law, Robert Tait.

Besides her parents, Susan was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Yancey Green; sisters Mary Ann Tufts and Sybil Elizabeth Tait; brothers Henry Lee Clyburn, Jr. and David B. Clyburn.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
