A service to celebrate the life of Carolyn Faye Brazell Hinson, 66, will be held Wednesday 1 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Deliverance Tabernacle Cemetery. The Rev. Russ Galloway will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Hinson passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 surrounded by her family. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Albert and Virginia Wilson Brazell. She received her Master’s Degree from State of South Carolina. She and her husband built and operated Hinson Electric Company. She was a member of Faith Way Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending car shows. She and her husband loved spending time together in the mountains at their cabin.

Surviving are her faithful and devoted husband, Earnie Albert Hinson; sons, Earnie Hinson, III. (Patricia) of Camden and Eric Hinson (Chrystal) of Camden; brothers, Jesse Brazell and William Brazell (Ann); sister, Doris Brazell (Wayne); grandchildren, Earnie “Buddy” Hinson, IV (Allison), Kinlyn Hinson, Kearson Hinson, Brandy Rea (J.T.) and Waylon Lawhon; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Rebecca and Ethan.

The family extends a special thanks to all of her healthcare providers and friends for their loving support during her illness.

Carolyn was dearly loved by her husband!
