A service to celebrate the life of Willie Thomas “Tommy” Boykin, Jr., age 59, of Camden will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 2:00pm at Concord United Methodist Church, 354 Old Camden Road, Bishopville, SC. The family will receive guests at the home at 12:30 p.m, September 27, prior to the service.

Tommy died Saturday September 8, 2018. He was born in Bishopville, the son of the late Willie T. and Edna Scott Boykin. An avid hunter and fisherman, Tommy enjoyed the outdoors with his cousin David Bramlett.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Jackson Boykin; daughter Penny Marie Woodhall (Jeston) of Camden; son Willie T. Boykin of Elgin; grandchildren Cameron, Nathan, and Kinsley; brothers, Stevie Boykin (Dianne) of Cassatt and Randy Boykin of Lucknow; sisters, Patsy Baker (Terry) of Bishopville and Lois Crolley of Hartsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
