Funeral services for Katie Sue Langley, 83, will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at Beaverdam Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Charles Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaverdam Baptist Church.

Mrs. Langley, wife of the late Ferrell Vaughn and the late Alvin Langley, passed away Thursday, October 04, 2018. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Cosmo and Polly Baker Hall. Mrs. Langley was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing yardwork and was an avid sports fan, especially the Atlanta Braves.

Surviving are her children, Van Vaughn of Headland, AL, Lomeda V. Smith (Brian) of Dothan, AL; siblings, Polly Leaird of Cassatt, Nancy Jackson of Lugoff, Jerry Hall of Cassatt; grandchild, Misty Smith; great-grandchild, Harley Smith; and a special friend, Don Sharon. She was predeceased by siblings, Paul Hall and Dorothy West.
