Price House Commission to hold festival in February

The Price House Commission wants to invite the public to the first annual Price House Festival.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Price House. The goal of this special Black History Month event is to bring everyone together to live, laugh, love and celebrate heritage, according to event organizers. Food, dancing, games and fellowship will be featured.

If any person or organization is interested in participating in the event, please refer to the list provided and contact one of the commissioners to indicate activities in which you are interested. Also, churches are invited to participate in a bake sale, with proceeds benefiting the participating churches.

Activies include music, singing, stepping, line dancing, face painting, arts and crafts, games, basketball, horseshoes, history, the Little House, the Price House, other.
