Doby's Mill robotics team heads to First Lego League

Doby’s Mill Elementary School’s (DMES) Shrimp and G.R.I.T. is going to the First Lego League (FLL) state competition this weekend. DMES started its first robotics team in 2002. This year’s team is called G.R.I.T, Great Robots In Training, and is made up of six fifth-graders. They must complete an application and show aptitude in six areas during tryouts before they can secure a spot on the team. » Read More
