Kershaw County School District (KCSD) employees and the local community are invited to learn more about the district’s proposed Fiscal Year 2019 budget and provide feedback. KCSD Superintendent Dr. Frank Morgan and Chief Financial Officer Donnie Wilson will hold a series of meetings across the county to explain the budget proposal, answer questions and receive suggestions.

“These meetings provide a great opportunity for persons to learn more about the school district’s budget situation and provide input,” Morgan said in a KCSD press release. “Having dialog about our needs and the resources to address them is an important part of our budget process. I encourage persons to attend a meeting so that they can be a part of that conversation.”

Morgan said meetings are being held in the three geographic locations of the county so that people can attend at least one of them. Meetings for employees begin at 3:30 p.m. and those for the public start at 7 p.m. on the following dates:

• Tuesday, April 17 at Lugoff-Elgin High School

• Wednesday, April 18 at Camden High School

• Wednesday, April 25 at North Central High School
