Writer wonders what goes on behind closed doors

Camden is like a little Washington, D.C. -- so much corruption going on behind closed doors, even in so-called public meetings. When a person can’t comment in a public hearing, something is bad wrong. When a committee is laughing and joking in a public hearing, there is no telling what goes on behind closed doors.

Citizens of Camden; what is wrong with a blue metal roof? The U.S. post Office in Dusty Bend has one. Store fronts, awnings, signs and lots of buildings in Camden are blue.

Is it because of a power struggle and a little but iof power that a person or appointed committee has that causes this problem? I would say this is causing lots of people to put their homes up for sale in the city -- corruption.

I would suggest that the Chronicle-Independent cover all public meetings. People have a right to know what goes on their town.
