This coming mid-term election is a special time of year for this African-American and senior citizens. I pray regularly and ask Father God to continue to let the light from the lighthouse shine on Americans’ daily lives.

There are some things I do not like that are going on in this great country, but I do not ever want to live elsewhere.

Any country that ends its relationship with its people will fail. Adolf Hitler’s Germany is an example. The first Jewish restrictions in 1933 were so inconclusive that it seemed as if the Fuhrer was deliberately compromising his principles.

Voter suppression laws are an evil spirit capable of being transmitted, causing trouble and defiling many Americans to struggle against difficulties.

In my sunset years of life, I even feel that someday, in America, it will be possible for humanity to produce a person or persons who will really be upright and venerable, inspired in everything they do by genuine love for humans and who will serve all humans selflessly.

Americans truly owe a debt of gratitude to those who fought and died and won God’s given voting rights laws that African-Americans have today.
