The Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce and AT&T will present the 2012 legislative forum and reception, to be held Monday at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County, 810 Lyttleton St., Camden.
The panel for the forum, which begins at 4 p.m., includes Congressman Mick Mulvaney; S.C. Sen. Vincent Sheheen; S.C. Rep. Laurie Funderburk; Kershaw County Council Chairman Gene Wise; and S.C. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Otis Rawl. In addition to hearing the latest on issues that impact everyday life, Chamber President Liz Horton said, attendees will be able to ask direct questions to the officials present during the event.
A reception will follow the forum. Tickets are $20 each and anyone in the community may purchase a ticket to attend; the event is not limited to chamber members.
Pre-registration is required by today. Costs, which may be paid by check or cash in advance or at the door, range from $300 for Gold sponsors to $20 for individuals. For more information, contact the chamber at 432-2525.
