Accuride, a supplier of commercial vehicle components, will expand its operations in Kershaw County. The company plans to invest $8.73 million to add two new machine lines for aluminum wheel production, generating at least 25 new jobs, according to the Kershaw County Economic Development Director Peggy McLean. McLean revealed Tuesday that Accuride is “Project Blue,” and that it is committing to the additional jobs as part of a fee-in-lieu-of-taxes (FILOT) agreement with the county.
