Chamber of Commerce helps cut ribbons at business grand openings

FIRST PICTURE: Recently, the Kershaw Chamber of Commerce, along with elected officials, friends and family, celebrated the grand opening of Professional Development and Training Services (PDTS) LLC with a ribbon cutting. PDTS provides Certified Nursing Assistant training. Exemplifying the highest levels of professionalism, they teach students the skills needed to successfully pass the nurse aid state exam and also help students prepare for the workplace; giving them the tools and equipment to be stable in employment and be professional in all they set out to do. SECOND PICTURE: New Kinda Me Salon II is now open at 629 DeKalb St. in Camden. The chamber, local elected officials, staff, friends and family helped owner Lisa Spruill celebrate with a ribbon cutting. They are a full-service salon and spa offering hair care and hair care products, manicures and pedicures, waxing, eyelash extensions, cosmetics, and more. They also specialize in weight loss services to include non-surgical lipo, cavitation, contour slimming, body wraps, protein shakes and detox products, just to name a few. THIRD PICTURE: CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge is now open at 2436 Main St. in Elgin. Chamber representatives, elected officials, staff, family and friends helped owner Chuck Johnson, celebrate with a ribbon cutting. CJ’s is a full-service restaurant serving gourmet food at reasonable prices. They also feature a lounge selling beer/wine. They open at 11 a.m. daily. For more information, call (803) 310-9060.

FOURTH PICTURE: Chamber representatives, elected officials, family, friends and others helped celebrate the grand opening of Sandhill Shooting Sports at 25 Mesa Lane in Lugoff with owners Sherra Scott and Helen Hankins. Sandhilll Shooting Sports is open Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. In addition to the gun range, the business deals in retail sales and firearms instruction. Sandhills Shooting Sports has five shooting tables in a 100-yard rifle bay and 14 shooting stations in a 25-yard pistol bay. Memberships are available, but not required.
