Discover Camden-Kershaw County magazine, a joint publication of the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce, city of Camden and Camden Media Co., is once again being placed in all state welcome centers. Discover, an invaluable tool made available to tourists at all S.C. Parks, Recreation and Tourism welcome centers across the state, helps the city, county and chamber generate and welcome visitors to discover the “Classically Carolina” place residents call home.

“We are excited to once again partner with Camden Media Co., and the Tourism Development Office to produce Discover Camden/Kershaw County,” Liz Horton, executive director of the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, said. “We are extremely appreciative of all the Kershaw County businesses who support this invaluable publication through advertising. Advertising in this high-quality publication can provide extensive positive exposure for any business wishing to create brand awareness, or extend their marketing reach.”

Suzi Sale, tourism development director for the city of Camden and Kershaw County, added, “Five thousand copies of this publication are distributed annually and it is the official Visitor/Relocation Guide for the City of Camden and Kershaw County. Our publication is also sanctioned by South Carolina Parks Recreation and Tourism, which allows us to place the guides for distribution in the SCPRT Welcome Centers across the state.”

There are currently nine welcome centers in the state. The magazine will be distributed at each of them and then replenished throughout the year. The nine centers are:

• U.S. 17 S.C. Welcome Center near the South Carolina/Georgia border (Little River)

• I-20 East S.C. Welcome Center near the South Carolina/Georgia border (North Augusta)

• I-26 East S.C. Welcome Center near the South Carolina/North Carolina border (Landrum)
