When Mary Farnell walks into a room, energy and warmth radiate from her; but when she starts talking about horses, she becomes absolutely effervescent. Mary, a self-proclaimed “horse person,” grew up foxhunting with The Camden Hunt from 13 years of age. It is a tradition that is special to her.
After graduating from Clemson, Mary traveled the country with a veterinary sales job for 12 years until she decided to come back to Camden and put down some roots in the community that first fostered her love of horses.
“We [horse-lovers] have different priorities -- we want to see the barn before we see the house,” Mary explains, only half-jokingly. “People are buying homes in Aiken and Tryon when they could be buying here in Camden. I am excited to show equestrian buyers from other parts of the country what Camden has to offer.”
Mary specializes in working with the equestrian market, but she can work with any of our clients to help them buy or sell any type of property.
