Goal: 85,000 per day
Hengst Masks
In this screen capture from a Kershaw County Economic Development Office video, a Hengst employee at the company’s Camden facility works on some face masks. Hengst decided in March to add a mask-making production line that recently went operational. The company’s goal is to make 85,000 masks per day; it is currently making 50,000 per day.
Hengst of North America, located in Kershaw County’s Steeplechase Industrial Park, is now a producer of face masks. The company’s goal is to manufacture 85,000 masks per day during the height of COVID-19 to supply our community, state, and nation with PPE.
