A limited liability corporation whose registered agent is a Camden ice cream shop owner purchased the building which housed Old Armory Steak & Seafood for $300,000 the day before the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) auctioned off the restaurant’s inventory.

Nicholas Caraminas is the registered agent for G&B Camden LLC with his brother, Ed. As G&B, the brothers purchased the building from BDD Real Estate LLC on July 14. The Caraminas family owns Sweet Lili’s Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt shop which will open soon on Broad Street.

Attempts to reach Caraminas on Tuesday were unsuccessful.

IRS Media Relations Specialist Mark Hanson confirmed multiple buyers purchased Old Armory’s other assets during the July 15 auction.
