The United Way of Kershaw County (UWKC) is working with the city of Camden to host the second annual “United We Serve” Pickleball Tournament April 5-7. The tournament is predicted to bring in hundreds from surrounding states to the beautiful new, state of the art, Camden Pickleball Plaza, 823 Campbell St., in Camden, according to a press release issued by the UWKC. The Plaza is one of the premiere Pickleball venues in South Carolina.

Tournament organizers are working diligently to draw top players from all around the region with amenities like lunch, snacks, cold drinks, tournament shirts, medals, first aid station, goody bags, ample parking, skill level brackets, door prizes and a hospitality tent. The tournament is a USA Pickleball Association sanctioned event and will feature men’s, women’s and mixed doubles. All proceeds from this tournament will benefit the United Way of Kershaw County’s Health and Hunger initiatives to fight hunger and improve the health of our community.
