Every year, The ALPHA Center celebrates diversity with its annual “A Picnic Among Friends” community event. This year’s event took place Sept. 20 at The ALPHA Center’s Camden office and included participation from the Camden fire and police departments, Kershaw County Library Bookmobile, and various agencies which took the opportunity to educate the public about their services. Families enjoyed music, delicious food, face painting, balloons, a kid zone and many other activities.
