Camden City Council and the public got a first look at the city’s proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 budget for the city of Camden during a public hearing held at Tuesday night’s council meeting. Five funds make up the $42.7 million budget, including the $9.44 million general, $488,700 project improvement, $368,700 paving, $31.53 utility and $855,000 local source revenue funds. The budget reflects modest increases in these funds, but does not appear to call for a tax increase at this time.
