Camden City Council made a few tweaks to its zoning ordinances, including its sign ordinance, during council’s meeting Tuesday night. Council passed first reading of an amendment to the ordinance which will allow for sandwich board-type signs in the general business district. These signs are considered temporary since business owners generally put them out during business hours only and store them at night, according to City Planner Shawn Putnam.
