The city of Camden celebrated both Arbor Day and James Leroy Belk American Legion Post 17’s centennial on Friday on the southwest side of Monument Square Park. Post 17 was commissioned in September 1919. During the ceremony, a recently planted tree was dedicated in the post’s honor.
