CCC gives first nod to Bailey Bill ordinance

Camden City Council is one step closer to establishing a new tax incentive for historic preservation. Council passed first reading of a new “Bailey Bill” ordinance during its meeting Tuesday night. Council members Alfred Mae Drakeford, Jeffrey Graham, Laurie Parks and Mayor Tony Scully all voted in favor of the ordinance; Councilwoman Deborah Davis was absent.
