Camden City Council is full steam ahead with its plans to build a state of the art tennis complex in Camden. After a public hearing, council unanimously passed second reading and final approval of an ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of a Hospitality Fee Revenue Bond not to exceed $1.9 million. Funds from the bond will be used to help pay for the design and construction of the complex; city officials hope to award the bid for the project within the next 2-3 weeks.
