Camden City Council will meet in executive session near the end of its meeting tonight in order to discuss a personnel matter. Immediately thereafter, in open session, council will consider a resolution authorizing Mayor Alfred Mae Drakeford to executive an employment agreement between the city and City Manager Mel Pearson. Pearson became permanent city manager in February 2013 after serving in an interim capacity following former City Manager Kevin Bronson’s decision to work for the city of Rock Hill.
