City Council moves forward with Dusty Bend project

Camden City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to award a bid to place electric lines underground on Broad Street in Dusty Bend to Sumter Utilities. Sumter Utilities submitted a bid in the amount of $282,386. The city will need to purchase a new bore at a cost of $6,901.65, bringing the project to a total of $289,287.
