City of Camden urges responsible water use after drought warning
Placeholder Image
The city of Camden is asking its water customers to voluntarily eliminate non-essential water use and limit discretionary uses like lawn irrigation to off-peak times. The voluntary reduction is the result of the Catawba-Wateree Drought Management Advisory Group (CW-DMAG) declaring the area under a Stage 1 drought. In Stage 1, water users are encouraged to voluntarily reduce lawn and landscape irrigation as well as residential vehicle washing.
