City purchasing former CES site to ‘have more control over’ its development
CES - Front Entrance 073120
The front entrance to the former Camden Elementary School building after the Kershaw County School District’s contractors erected a security fence prior to demolition, which was completed earlier this year. The 7.5-acre lot is now being sold to the city of Camden, whose ultimate plans for the land are unknown. City leaders said they wanted to have more control on what would end up there.
