By this morning, Kershaw County and the Kershaw County School District should be in possession of the city of Camden’s 35-page redevelopment plan. The plan proposes to create a tax increment financing, or TIF, district -- with the city’s proposed sports complex as the anchor -- to fund public improvements in the area. City Manager Kevin Bronson told Camden City Council, with Councilman Willard Polk on vacation, during a work session Thursday that he intended to send the document to the county and school district Friday.
