Camden City Council will consider granting economic development incentives for a new hotel proposed near the Exit 98/I-20 interchange during tonight’s meeting. The hotel, a Hampton Inn, being built by Kali, Inc. will represent an investment of $3.225 million and is expected to create at least ten new jobs. Under the incentive agreement, the City would reimburse Kali, Inc. for up to $30,000 in water and sewer capacity fees.
