City to host free shred day Jan. 7

The city of Camden is partnering with Shred 360 to host a Free Community Shred Day benefitting the United Way’s Mobile Nutrition Center on Jan. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot to the left of City Hall, 1000 Lyttleton St., Camden.The event is free and open to the public. The city encourages everyone to bring canned goods for the Mobile Nutrition Center along with shredding material. Needed food donations include canned (meats, fruit, pasta, soup, vegetables), miscellaneous grocery (peanut butter and jelly, pasta sauce), and dry groceries (pasta, beans, oatmeal, brown rice, ready meals, granola/protein bars).
