Camden City Council will consider second and final readings of several ordinances, including final reading on an ordinance amending the Beechwood Property Planned Development District (PDD), during its meeting Tuesday. The property is currently zoned PDD and allows for up to 106 single family homes to be built on the 65 acre property. Under the requested change, the official designation would be PDD - Retirement Community and would allow for a total of 254 units, including 140 single family cottages, 64 multi-family apartments, and an assisted living facility.
