Coalition performs ‘random acts of kindness’
Blessing Box
Brent Rogers and his dog, Josh, in front of the Blessing Box at Camden Police Department headquarters at the corner of West DeKalb and Gordon streets. Keeping it full is one of the Camden Kindness Coalition’s five missions. Rogers started the coalition after coming home to Camden following his recovery from addiction and nearly committing suicide in San Francisco. (Facebook photo)
On Christmas Day five years ago, Brent Rogers stood on the edge of the Golden Gate Bridge overlooking the wide strait of water connecting San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean.
