Committee seeking contact information for 1960s, 1970s CHS band members

A tribute and memorial are in the planning stages to honor William H. Basden Sr., who, in the 1960s and 1970s, made his Camden High School (CHS) marching bands a dominant force in South Carolina and throughout the United States. In tribute to Basden, a memorial/tribute committee wants all his former band members to have the opportunity to participate. In an email/postal blast in mid-February, the committee will ask each person to submit a few paragraphs as to what the CHS band experience was like for them, how Basden influced their lives, anecdotes and more.
