Council approves incentives for Camden Square
BMS provides concept site plan
Camden Square Plan
This BMS Associates concept site plan, attached to Tuesday’s agenda, shows how the developer plans to use the existing building, refashion the parking lot, create a driveway using a closed portion of Old River Road, and create two outparcels on the north side of the property.
During a “virtual” meeting Tuesday, where most of council attended by conference call, members approved first reading of an ordinance allowing for the execution and delivery of an incentive agreement with BMS Camden Associates LLC, a subsidiary of Bright-Meyers-Sasser that is acting of the developer of Camden Square, the former home of Bi-Lo near the intersection of West DeKalb and Wylie streets in Camden.
