During its Feb. 27 meeting, Camden City Council recognized two of its own for being named the local Veteran of Foreign Wars’ (VFW) officer and firefighter of the year. Recently, the VFW named Camden Police Department (CPD) Lt. Tim LeGault (pronounced “Leh-go”) as its 2018 Officer of the Year, and the Camden Fire Department’s (CFD) Roger Roscoe as its 2018 Firefighter of the Year. CPD Capt. Lee Boan talked about why LeGault was nominated and, likely, why the VFW named him its officer of the year.
