Ehrenclou will be open for CHS access Monday
But, be prepared
Ehreclou at CHS Web
C. Ray Miles Construction crews work on paving Ehrenclou Drive at Camden High School. All three entrances to the school will be accessible from Ehrenclou Drive on Monday. Drivers are urged to use U.S. 521 to reach Ehrenclou Drive to approach the school and to exit the same way. Those using York Street will be able to access the CHS parking lot, but will not be allowed onto Ehrenclou Drive or Chestnut Ferry Road Extension as a bridge will be removed for replacement. Joe Tucker of C. Ray Miles Construction has a strong suggestion for parents, students, teachers and others trying to access Camden High School (CHS) as school starts up again Monday. “I would ask everyone to come down here (today) or over the weekend and see what it’s like before school opens Monday,” Tucker said Wednesday as he watched crews working to finish the installation of a new road surface on the entire length of Ehrenclou Drive. Tucker said all three entrances to CHS on Ehrenclou Drive will be open Monday, and urged for as many people as possible -- students, parents, teachers, and bus drivers -- to use U.S. 521 to access Ehrenclou Drive in order to reach the school.
