Some people affected by Sunday’s freezing rain lost power for up to two full days, according to Camden Public Works Director Tom Couch. The city of Camden’s electric service goes well beyond the city’s limits, stretching up U.S. 521 to Westville and down to Sumter County, east on S.C. 34 to Lee County and northwest on S.C. 97 toward Liberty Hill.
