Historic Camden receives $250,000 PRT grant

Historic Camden recently received a $250,000 grant from the S.C. Dept. of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Historic Camden has received a $250,000 grant from the South Carolina department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism (SCPRT) for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. The money will be used to fund a number of priority maintenance projects at Historic Camden Revolutionary War Park. Several Historic Camden board members gathered Friday to receive a ceremonial check from State Sen. Vincent Sheheen and State Rep. Laurie Funderburk.
